Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Crown
Large dining pub located in a prominent position on the crossroads at the top of the hill, and doing good business on a Thursday lunchtime. Partly opened out to leave the bar / lounge on the right-hand side and the split-level restaurant areas off to the left, with all parts looking suitably traditional. Also has some plain wooden benches at the front but a much smarter patio beer garden to the rear. Three handpumps, dispensing the inevitable Harvey's, an excellent Old Man from Long Man (£5.70) and Brakspear's Gravity as the guest ale.
