Cask options were limited to Wandle. Cruelly three hand pumps but only one dispensing ordinarily so I am told. The Wandle was fine, surprisingly so I find when a venue has a token cask ale. Keg options a plenty and comprising Aspall cider, Neck Oil, Amstel, K1664, Guinness, Meantime Prime Pale & Anytime IPA, Asahi, Gamma Ray, Peroni. Same beers on in both sides of the continuous bar counter.
Classy pub on a side street away from the hustle and bustle of Tooting High St. Pub divides in half at entrance with bar along the back wall serving both sides. The left-hand side is an L shaped area with a variety of seating including a couple of grand church pews against the rear walls. Some seating on stools at the bar counter and otherwise regular seating at a mish mash of tables around the space. Old, well-worn floorboards broken only by a large, ragged rug underneath the round table in front of the bar. Right-hand side set for diners and an outside conservatory type area totally bedecked in fairy lights. A nice low key jazz track sat nicely in the venue. There were more diners than drinkers in during my mid Monday evening visit. I really liked this place. It was a calm oasis where you could kick back and relax in an area where pubs are generally manic in the evenings. If it had a better cask offering, then I would rate this place more highly. Nevertheless, a good venue.

Street corner pub with a side entrance into the room with the operational bar,a square seating area and then a conservatory dining area.Refurbed at some point with little in the way of original features apart from exterior glasswork.Through an arch to a larger room,L shaped with a non functioning bar,and dining style tables but not set for service. However the upmarket customers will be eating so you may have to put up with nearby munching, and possibly kids during the day.Although the ceilings are high it's devoid of features apart from a side snug with a large table.
At the bar London Pride and TT Landlord, served too warm and in flabby condition NBSS 2 and a rip off at £3.60 the half.
Avoid and leave to the diners.

This is a late 19th century pub, once under the stewardship of Courage, as evidenced by the brace of polychromatic cockerel lamps flanking the corner entrance.
A flying visit here, as I was on a mission so didn’t stay long, even by the standards of the Flying Half. The interior has been substantially gastrofied, with the interior abundantly visible on their website’s gallery; of note are the leaded and stained-glass clerestories. Customers were young professional types and there was a good buzz, me having arrived towards the end of the weekly quiz.
There were two ales served by a friendly barman: Sambrook’s Session and Otter Ale at £2.40 a half and slightly on the turn, though as the barman had warned me that it was approaching the bottom of the barrel and I could have opted for the Session, I’ll not penalise the pub for quality.
This was definitely one of the better of my seven-pub mini crawl, probably benefitting from being a backstreet hostelry, out of sight of those perambulating Tooting’s unprepossessing main streets; I would use frequently if living locally, the one obvious minus point being the overpowering smell of garlic.
