Despite being in a glorious building, all a bit too suburbanised and aimed at the tourists. One main bar room with various areas laid up for dining behind, and an over-constructed outdoor area at rear. Range of local beers including the house bitter from Country Life seemed in fair order however.

Sunday lunch good. Doombar average, Abbott ale not nice, Abbotsham beer completely off so cloudy light couldn't get through it. Worst pint in 5 years.
