Company Bar is a cellar bar where ‘men go to meet men’. I’d normally walk past these places, but I’d had just enough beer for my curiosity to get the better of me so seeing the door open I wandered down the stairs into the small open plan dimly lit bar. It was empty apart from a lone gentleman who was sitting in the corner, and the very friendly barman. Craft keg was available and I was surprised to see two hand pumps that were drawing Tatton Brewery’s Best and Mallinson’s Parallel Realities. I then recalled that both of these were available in the Molly House above, so I assume these places are run by the same people. This venue isn’t aimed at me so I don’t plan to return.
