Now demolished, so won’t be coming back. I remember this pub from the 60s, when it was seen as a very modern pub (which at the time appealed to me for some reason), and was possibly a post WWII build. It was modern enough that even then it only had a single bar. It was never a brilliant pub, but it catered for a large residential area whose inhabitants now presumably have to trail down to the high road in order to get a drink. A sad loss of a community pub.
