Lovely old corner pub with small rooms to the front and rear with the bar itself in between and a third room off to the right-hand side. There is a nice tiled floor and the pub has quite a nice rustic feel. It was quite busy on our early Friday evening visit. Dogs are welcome and one corner of the front room has pictures of local canine customers.

The two regular cask ales are Black Iris Snake Eyes & Oakham Citra. Guest beers were Lenton Lane Cloudburst, Liquid Light Blue Jay Way, Ossett/Vault City Fruited Pale, Little Brewing Epiphany & Little Critters White Wolf. Ciders were Sneinton Number of the Beast, Sting Merry Monk, Gwynt y Ddraig Happy Daze, SeaCider Medium & Snail's Bank Banoffee Pie. Craft beers were Shiny Wipeout & Vault City Iron Brew.

Food is also served here seemed to have a Mexican influence, with tacos, nachos and quesadillas available.

I enjoyed my visit here despite it being quite busy. My local Sneinton cider was certainly enjoyable. With quite a few good pubs in this area, I'm sure I will be back one day.

A superb early 19th century traditional and characterful pub,there is a central bar area with rooms either side, It boasts eight hand pulls serving up interesting beers from independent brewers, I went for Thornbridge Galaxy & Simcoe, served up in good nick. Top pub.

Nowadays only branded as The King Billy rather than King William IV, this corner alehouse has a plain (if distinctive) two-tone green exterior on both sides. Simple furniture and traditional decoration in the two bars separated by the central servery, and also in the inconspicuous rear room. Eight handpumps dispensing cask ales from mostly smaller breweries, plus Oakham Citra. Staying local, I went for Hollow Stone's Pale Ale (£4.20), with their Frassasi blood orange IPA also available.
