The Widecombe Fair is a modern pub that was built to serve the modern trading estates in this area of Mansfield.
Once inside there is one large single room which runs the width of the pub,the bar is in the right side which is the drinking area,there were a few normal tables and chairs and a couple of leather settees in this area,it all seemed a bit sad to me,the left side is up a slight step,this area is much larger and set aside for diners,it was packed with family diners on my Saturday afternoon visit.
There was only one real ale on the bar which was Bombardier,this was ok but nothing special.
I was very dissapointed with my visit to this pub,best left for family diners.
