Real Ale Ray left this review about Melton Constable
This large purpose built pub dates from 1839 and sits on the North bank of the Seaton Burn. The pub has a traditional interior and I especially liked the rather grand original mahogany bar, which was heavily embellished to suit it's position in the large main lounge.
There is a raised area on the right with banquette seating along the windows. There was also a new conservatory at the back, which overlooked the Seaton Burn. Five ales on, again nationals Wainwright, Abbott, Jennings, Bank's Sunbeam and Sharps. The pub was also busy with diners on our visit, OAP special rate meals, same as Kings Arms across the road.
