This pub really is a gem, and deserves a visit....if you happen to drive past it!
Hidden away between Haydon Bridge and Langley, Carts Bog has everything you would expect of a Northumberland pub.
Great cask ales, a good selection of wines, a log fire and superb food.
The meals are pricey, but well worth it, as generous portions of the main course are followed with scumptious deserts.
Sitting quietly in a small valley, the pub is just also just a few minutes drive from a glorious view north towards Hadrian's Wall.
Most definately worth a visit.
