One of two pubs in the village of Geddington, this one is an attractive building looking out to the village's Eleanor Cross.
There is a small bar to the front right-hand side, with a lounge to the left-hand side. The lounge is situated over 2 levels, with a dining room further off to the left.
On my mid-Friday afternoon visit, most people had not long finished lunch and were beginning to leave. This left just the friendly barmaid, myself and a couple of other drinkers.
Featuring in the latest Good Beer Guide, the Star has Greene King Abbot as a regular, along with 3 guests - Timothy Taylor Landlord, Grainstore Zahara & the local Digfield Shacklebush.
