Slowly sliding downhill. Now closed Monday, Tuesday all day and now most of Sunday too. Beer quality poor and local residents no longer going. What are Brakspear going to do about it? (I suspect I have already guessed the answer - residential).
March 2012
A decent little pub, serving three Brakspear beers in pretty good condition, with Double Drop in bottles. The inside of the place (as well as the outside garden) is nicely presented, with a couple of quirky elements here and there. Also a dart board, friendly regulars and real fire. Thai food served which is of good quality. The licensee seems to be less than welcoming sometimes which spoils it. Keep smiling pal!
