Quite typical for the BrewDog chain,it has a student vibe inside with a grungy feel, lots of high tables, unplaned wood and metal chairs, games machines along one wall,a seperate small rear room for pin ball tables and then a pool table .There are some seating booths around the perimeter with views of the street scene through vast plate glass windows. It was strangely quiet on my visit although some young folk did drop in as the time went by.
There are 40 kegs taps in the wall behind the dark slate serving bar.The cinema display was showing 30+ indie beer and cider choices, too many to recount here but there was some style range beyond the various IPA derivatives .My half of Crossed Anchors Lola Palooza Sour 8% was sipped gradually and was decent. The great soundtrack created an atmosphere even with few punters inside.
You know what you are going to get before entereing a BrewDog ,I enjoyed my brief forray into indie beer territory.

All the below still holds true. Feels like quite a small BrewDog venue compared to some others these days. The board over the bar listing all the beer choices does feel a bit overwhelming but it is nicely laid out by style and here does seem to be, relatively speaking, more guest beers these days than in the past. Not a data driven observation, just a hunch.

The venue, just off Shepherd’s Bush Green, was lively, but not stupidly so on my visit a bit after 8pm. Definitely orientated to younger ages than me. A lot looked like this is their go to venue around here and would probably remain here all evening. Don’t get that, have been happy ticking off BD London venues mostly, but it would hardly be my go to even if it was my geographically immediate venue to home. Had a pint of their own brew called Shore Leave, a mid 4% abv pale ale that was very pleasant.

I struggle to rate any BD venue above the mid point of the range. No real negatives but just doesn’t tick the boxes for me as anything other than a quick one and move onto some where with more character and beyond mind numbingly boring.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about BrewDog Shepherd’s Bush

Ugly looking building (albeit larger inside than it would appear from the front), with the usual sort of industrial-look bar featuring a L-shaped layout, window booths along the frontage and the shorter side, and a row of arcade games at the back. Also has the expected very diverse selection of 28 craft beers of their own (two alcohol free), ten guests and a couple of ciders from the row of 40 taps on the bar-back. Opted for the 6.5% 'staff selection' Puppet Master' IPA (£6.55, schooner) in the end, mostly on the dubious basis that the name was an ironic reference to James Watt. I was going to leave it at that, but the puppet master did then make me look at the (very) mini real ale festival (with a few casks on a stillage put on to annoy Camra and its nearby Great British Beer Festival at Olympia), featuring six beers including its own new Shore Leave (£2.65, half).
