Bar to right with seating in front for non-diners. Left hand side for diners. Three kegs only - one reasonably strong IPA.

This is a Fuller’s pub, but with only London Pride (at £3.20 a pint) on, which I regard as a bad sign. It looks like a typical Fuller’s high street conversion. It’s bare-boarded, with sofas, normal tables and chairs, a dartboard, and a pool table to the right and to the back of the bar. There were TVs on the walls of course, but switched off during my weekday mid-afternoon visit. There was some pop music blaring out. Food menus were affixed to clipboards on the tables, a feature I’ve seen in the poorer quality high street Fuller’s pubs. Main meals were around the £7 - £8 mark, and sarnies around the £4 - £6 mark – e.g. a cheddar cheese and tomato sarny is £3.95. I found this pub to be just a bit too characterless and gloomy, and a Fuller’s pub having only Pride on really isn’t good enough. I can’t see me returning.

A Fullers pub, but only had Pride on. Comfortable enough. Seating out the front, though it's right by the main road. Serves food all day.
