Strongers . left this review about The Poplars
Poplars is a basic estate boozer with a car park either side and picnic tables out the front. Inside there is a bar located centrally on the rear wall and to the right is a dartboard and to the left is a pool table. A standard keg selection is available from the bar. During my visit late on Tuesday evening last week a handful of locals were in watching football. One of them was very generously sharing out his take-away pizza and kebab meat covered chips that he had brought in from over the road. I spied a lounge bar diagonally through the back bar, but this area was closed so I didn’t visit. The service was friendly and I would visit to watch the football if I lived on the estate.
