A nice little pub out in the sticks, the front public bar is slightly rustic with dark wooden beams and uprights with plentiful horse brasses attached. The flooring is wooden, the walls a mix of exposed brick,plaster and wood paneling,the bar features an open fire and dartboard. to the rear of the building and a separate extension room are dining areas. Four handpumps with two in service, the beers were Doom Bar and Andwells Spring Magic, the latter although not a favourite brewery of mine was decent enough.A pleasant pub worth a stop off should you ever find yourself in the middle of nowhere.
