Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Hen & Chicken
Traditional-looking roadside pub, but now more of an Indian restaurant. The bar counter spans the two parts, both modernised, with the larger section laid up for those dining. Also has a (noisy, due to passing road traffic) decking seating area on the right-hand side. Slightly surprisingly, two cask ales are served from the handpumps: Harvey's and the local Parody from Firebird (£4.95).
