Joqux has risen out of the dregs of the last establishment that occupied this basement. The present owners have put a lot of thought and energy into making it contemorary and welcoming. The staff are friendly and even though there is only one draught beer available at the moment it comes from immaculate pipes! There are bottled beers and the usual spiRita on offer at competitive prices. Unfortunately it has been quiet over the last while. May I suggest you have a visit where you will be made very welcome! This establishment hosts a variety of events and parties which have been a major hit with all guests!

A cellar bar with a dancefloor to one side. There's lots of lounge seating and a big screen TV. Only 2 other people in the bar on my Friday evening visit. There are lots of keg pumps on the bar, but the only thing they had a on draught was Carlsberg. On a Friday evening!!! WTF! It was £1 for a half. I drank up quickly and left. It's awful.
