Older photos show a fairly decrepit building but there has been some money spent on a complete re-imagination of the space, which is now very modern, bright, full of greenery and loud music and, at the time of my early afternoon visit, completely empty. The bar is upstairs and has the usual features of a modern bar plus those hopelessly old fashioned hand pump thingies, four of them. There was one real ale and a real cider, with the other two unclipped. My half of Beer Brothers Sinatra was pale, modern, bland and instantly forgettable. There's a small balcony area through a door to the left, which I imagine would be crowded with smokers on a busy evening. I don't intend to return to find out.
