This is a pub that used to be a bit of a nightmare. It was closed for a while and reopened about 6 months ago with new tenants. I have to say I am very impressed by the improvements they have made already. The pub is a lot cleaner although there is still some work to do on the sofas, but I'm lead to believe that this is waiting for the Brewery to sort out.
The beer is very well priced, with pints from £2.50 and spirits £2.50 with a mixer.
There is fresh homemade food available every day and they do a fantastic Sunday roast. Prices for the food are very good as well.
I was down there last Saturday when they had live music from 2 different artists and it was a cracking night.
This pub if definitely worth a visit.
