This place dates from the early 19th century but was rebuilt in 1897; the name of the Isleworth Brewery can be seen to the right-hand gable.
The interior is spacious, with a very large extension built onto the rear. It has been modernised, but not savagely so, with a ‘tour’ available on the pub’s website; unfortunately, it doesn’t paint a very flattering picture of a typical modern gastropub interior, but it’s not so vulgar when viewed in the flesh; that or it has been toned down. The colour scheme is a combination of deep purple, patterned wallpaper, white ceiling with a little bare brick. Furniture is trendy, décor comprises shelved books and framed prints; one item of note is the embossed cornice to the mid-section.
As the Young’s pub surrounded by a pincer movement by three other Fuller’s pubs, the ale front was predictable, my Proper Job on great form, but at a barely credible £3.05 a half, a lot more than you’d pay in far more affluent locations in central London.
This is a reasonable pub, though unlike the other three has been unnecessarily made over, which probably explains why it was the least busy of the four, students conspicuous by their absence; perhaps they can’t afford to drink here.

Nice pub where you can eat or drink. Not a gastro nor a boozer so suits me fine.Nice comfortable bar area and a big room to the back leading to a large beer garden.Lovely sunday roast.Dull choice of regional beers on.Just what we need in the area another pub selling London Pride.

I recently popped in here for the first time in over ten years and I could hardly recognise the place. I have memories of a rough and ready no nonsense drinking den, but it has now fallen to the gastro sword. It is a big pub, but the rear feels more like a dining room although it does lead to a nice beer garden.

Pride, Landlord, Hoegarden, Stella, Heineken, Kronenberg, Staropramen, Amstel, Fosters and Strongbow were all available. I was served an OK pint of Pride by a friendly enough barmaid.

I was disappointed with my visit and I wish that I hadn't bothered as my previous memories of the New Inn have been tainted.
