Main road pub opposite canal junction. From the outside, this is a fairly appalling 1970s type building. As it is on the inside. It does have some good local ales on, as well as a thriving food trade, but main selling point is the live music or other entertainment every night,if that is your thing, although you can escape to the front bar. Extensive gardens with playthings for the kids. Feels a bit like a holiday camp however, so not recommended unless you really like the music or it is a quiet time.
