A pleasant little locals' pub with a fair selection of beers although, as noted by previous reviewers, the quality was not great. The cellar cooler was overflowing onto the pavement and I wonder if they have cellar issues. Decor includes pumpclips on the main room ceiling and and an interesting if slightly random collection of LPs in the back room.

A corner pub that seems to be styling itself as a beer destination but previous reviews suggest the quality isn't there, my recent visit seems to bear this out, I counted eleven handpumps with four given over to Cider, Lillys and Seacider etc, on bare handle and four beers, Bass, Hardline another Midnight, Windsor & Eton Conqueror and my choice of Indie Rabble Phenomenon which was anything but phenomenal, on the lacklustre side scoring a NBSS 2.5 (generous). This pub could be a banger but not on this form.

Thought when i planned my trip this might be the pub of the day but the scruffy interior,poor selection of cask(for me) and it was freezing cold inside made it worst pub of the day.Both cask beers i tried were just ok.About 10 cask beers on which outnumbered the customers.They do a Camra discount.
