26 Hope Street is a single roomed characterless pub with minimal décor. Running along the right-hand wall is the bar that faces some high tables that populate the centre floor space. Standard seating is found down the left-hand wall. I counted four plasma screens that were being used to air Sky Sports during my recent midweek evening visit. There is a quiz every Thursday from 19:00 and live music is held here every Friday, all day Saturday and Sundays. Standard keg products were being served by the polite barmaid. I thought that there were better pubs in the immediate area.

Typical city centre pub that is close to Glasgow Central Railway Station.Called in on a Sunday afternoon to watch the final day of the Premier League footy and although no cask beer, there was still a good atmosphere but made sure I made a sharp exit at full time before the Karaoke merchants took over.
