Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about San Clu Hotel
Atop the East Cliff, this imposing hotel was originally the St Cloud, but usually pronounced in the English rather than French way, so they eventually went phonetic with the name. Anyway, the large bar / restaurant area is open to all, and is a bit more pub-like than one might expect. Almost full of groups eating Christmas meals, but the general seating area by the entrance was busy with those just having for a drink. Slightly surprisingly, there is a pair of handpumps, and with both in use I found Abbot and the seasonal Rocking Rudolph (£4.20) available.
