The Shipwrights Arms is next door to the Wethys pub and quite handy for the train station.As expected there was quite an amount of nautical memorabilia on show and in particular an ample collection of model sailing ships.
On arrival the landlady was busy on her mobile and was oblivious to any customers waiting to be served,and after about a minute disappeared though a door behind the bar.She returned 2 minutes later still glued to her phone.At this point it was exit stage left and made a hasty retreat to the real ales next door at the Barnsty arch.
The beers on the bar at The Shipwrights were the usual suspects plus Duuchars Pale Ale

Not a very friendly welcome, average selection of drinks. Clientele seem to be a mix of locals, and people who got bored queuing in Wetherspoons. Not a great deal to recommend it.
