This is the former Flints. Apres has relocated from Lichfield Rd (now the Spoon's Mare Pool) to here. It is a modern, glass frontaged chain pub/eatery/sports bar. There is a sizable outside patio area. The interior is an L-shape, with a long serving bar. I am not sure of the colour of the walls, certainly a light colour, but the red fancy lamp shades give a glow that makes you feel you are inside a 70s lava lamp. The floor is laminate and the seating is a mix of red, booth areas and sofas (the last two being chocolate in colour - i think). They do food, but i didn't eat, so can't comment on it. A plethora of TVs, some small ones in the booth areas and a large pull-down screen were showing the footy match. I don't recall any pictures in what is a pretty sterile environment, although the mainly younger crowd seemed to be enjoying it. There was no music. The service was friendly. Beer; usual tap stuff, with Estrella lager - but nothing like MILD of course. I had a coke. One for the young 'uns.
