Graham Coombs left this review about Cliff Hotel

A smart small hotel on the top of the cliff, also accessed by a forbidding flight of steps from the seafront. The bar/restaurant is ultra modern, with a large roofed area outside and a big open air terrace a few steps down, all astroturfed and benefitting from the view over the beach. You have to get past the usual Wait to be Seated signs but they are happy to serve you at the bar, where Woodforde's Bure Gold and Wherry were on handpump in good nick. Not at all pubbish but it's actually not a bad place to enjoy a pint, especially outside in good weather.
