Pretty busy, early on a Thursday evening. It's a fairly standard GK dining pub with an outside drinking area at the rear. Only the standard GK fare on the bar, so I just had a half of the GK IPA as I was at the start of a longish crawl. Reasonably efficient barstaff and they applied the CAMRA 10% discount when I asked which I dropped into the Lifeboat charity box. Won't be calling in again, but it was OK.

quite nice for a Greene King McPub. you can still feel the shell of what was once probably a very traditional old boozer. sadly now ruined by identikit corporate modern decor, food menus etc. the staff were friendly and the place pretty busy early Saturday afternoon. Tribute, Old Speckled Hen and GKIPA made for a serviceable if unspectacular beer choice.
