A really smart pub that seems to have had a lot of money spent on quite a decent internal refurbishment. It was empty at the time of my brief visit, with a few minutes to kill before catching a train from the nearby Corkickle station. The person running the bar soon appeared, however, having apparently been in the outside drinking area with whatever customers were there. This would be a really nice pub except for one thing: NO REAL ALE! The choice was between John Smiths Smooth Crap, Fosters and Kronenbourg 1664. The latter is my default drink in these circumstances, and actually, with it being a warm day and having cycled a few miles, I must admit it went down a treat. (Don't tell Camra!)
