I expected good things of this GBG pub and I have to say I was a bit disappointed (which may say something about my expectations) . It was fairly quiet on a Saturday tea time.
Only 2 of the 4 handpulls were on, offering the ubiquitous (in these parts) St Austell Tribute and Sharp’s Doom Bar. The pub had a beamed ceiling and open layout.
It didn’t grab me though, I’m afraid, and I wouldn’t really make a special effort to go out of my way to go back. It was OK but no more than that.

One large bar, mainly given over to dining, for which it seems very popular, but it was a Sunday lunchtime.
3 hand pulls, but one was off during my visit
Car parking is minimal, but there is free on street parking, however given the narrow streets and bends this may be awkward at some times, however I found space on a Sunday afternoon, so do not let this deter you
