Called in here as I had caught a bus to Piece to start a walk on the mining trail Great Flat Lode, and it was a popular community pub with atmosphere and will be well used by walkers, cyclists and horse riders along the trail. Quite a few handpulls on with real ales mainly mainstream breweries, but a good choice. Chose Skinners Betty Stogs which was a decent drink. There were lists on display of what was on in the pub for every night during July and August, and all sorts of events covered.
