The Anglesea Arms is a decent looking pub that is situated just off the main shopping area.
Once inside there is a single oblong shaped room with the bar facing,the room is carpeted,the seating mainly normal tables and chairs with two leather settees to the left.
There is a pool table and darts board to the right.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Courage Best which was a decent enough drink,the other beer was Doom Bar.
I thought this was a pleasant enough pub to have a drink in.

There’s no real ale here, and I didn’t see any sign of food or menus on Saturday afternoon. There’s a pool table and a couple of dartboards on the right, and furnishings are cheap-looking tables and chairs. A TV was on showing the racing, and which also had a notice stuck to it announcing a minimum of two drinks per person during football matches.
The clientele seemed to be comprised mainly of kids, teenagers and the odd responsible adult. It’s probably not the sort of pub to which I would make a return visit.
