Typical hotel bar expensive to drink if you dont want to pay top whack keep out. More of a place for food than drinking but worth at least a look

I've given this a very low score in an effort to counteract the obviously inflated score given by the previous reviewer, as this was clearly an advertisement! The Slopes bar had one handpump serving Robinsons Unicon bitter when I was here. The atmosphere is more akin to a cafe bar than a pub, though to be fair I didn't experience the Friday night acoustic session. Nor did I sample the roast dinner in the upstairs bar, as I am a vegetarian, so I can't say how good the friendly staff were. Needs an unbiased review.

Upstairs Bar:
Friendly Atmosphere with good company from the staff, Best Roast dinner in buxton served in the Restaurant for a resonable price!

Slopes Bar:
Great atmosphere, accoustic sessions on a friday night, brilliant quality food and presiontation.

Well recomended for all ages.

Staff are allways friendly and polite, selection of beers, wines and spirits avaliable!
