The Chieftain is a fairly modern estate pub that looked fairly nice and well kept from the outside.
Once inside i went into a largish room that had different drinking areas this room was carpeted and had comfortable bench seating.
This pub is an Hydes tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Hydes bitter and this was a fairly decent drink the other beer was Hydes mild.
This is quite a nice pub and i thought it was worth the walk here.
