The Palatine is a decent looking stone built pub that is fairly close to Hadfield train station.
Once inside the pub had a couple of rooms that i noticed and i had a drink in a smartish lounge which was carpeted and had comfortable seating.
This pub is a Robinsons tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Robinsons biter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Robinsons Hatters mild.
I quite liked this pub and would have happily stayed longer if not on a pub crawl.
