Locals pub which opens late at the weekends. Live music followed by a disco. Cobs behind the bar.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Olde Queens Head

The refurbished exterior of this pub belies a rather traditional arrangement within. The partially opened-out layout retains two counters, although only that in the plainly-furnished main bar was in use when I visited. Beside this are two side seating / dining areas with newer furniture (one raised and seemingly doubling as a stage for the advertised live music). A smarter dining area lies beyond the second bar, and beside this is the carvery counter which provides the mainstay of the menu ("12:30 'till gone" most days). Cobs also available. Signage indicates further seating and the pool table upstairs. Doom Bar and Wye Valley HPA (£2.90) available from two of six handpumps.
