Please do not use this last review its an old review, the pub has been taken over in december 2010 by a new landlord. Its open for food monday to saturday 12 till 9 and sunday 12 till 8 its offering traditional home cooked food and a excellent specials board. There are 4 rooms offering excellent accomadation with breakfast in the room.

We stayed here for two nights and i must say it was very poor.The accommadtion is seperate from the pub and you have to go into the pub for breakfast, but on both mornings we were left outside in the cold as the pub was not open,Breakfast was from 8.00 till 10.00 but it was gone 10.00 before the woman arrived to open up the pub and start to do breakfast.My three marks are for the cask beer and the barmaid.
