New Management company have now taken over building the future of the pub is underway. The customers are a good bunch, all friendly and generous to a fault. In due course Pub Grub will be available as the Landlady - Karen - undertakes the mammoth task of restoring public confidence and rebuilding customer base in what is the best pub in town.
The pub raises thousands each year through the various groups meet here including:

* RAOB (the Buffs) Leyland Lodge 4546 & New Era Lodge 10229 plus the OBA (Overseas Buffaloes Associasion)
* Millennium BC2000 Bikers Club
* Leyalnd Pigeon Flyers Club
* Leyland Chess Club
and others.
Huge Car parking facilities, Benches at the front & Large grass area to the rear and Totalbets Bookmakers too. So come for sunshine, Racing and all TV Sports. Karaoke Wednesday & Saturday with some live bands too. Children welcome during the day - (Children must keep parents control)
Also on the main Bus route around town and to Preston & Chorley.
