The Bird in Hand is a bare brick built pub and it used to be the closest pub to Hartleys brewery but strangly it was a Bass tied house when i went in it.
Once inside there were a few different rooms and we had a drink in the bar which was fairly basic,there were two real ales on the bar and we had a drink of Bass xxxx mild and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Bass.
