Real Ale Ray left this review about The Queens Arms
A good solid traditional pub with the building dating from 1630, originally a Coaching Inn. The interior certainly has character, looking at some of the gnarled and twisted oak ceiling beams. The customers on our visit had the same focus as us, calling in for quality beer in a comfortable pub to sit and chat.
Five handpumps Ossett White Rat, Roosters Easy Going Assassin, Saltaire Blonde, Tetley's Bitter and Kirkstall Three Swords.

This is your quintessential proper pub. Dark wood, low beamed ceiling, banquette seating and two rooms. Very traditional feeling and in an authentic way, not something that is modern but made to look faux traditional. There is definitely a place for this kind of pub in British society. There is a fireplace and a TV, which was not on.
At the time of my visit on Friday afternoon I spotted five(?) hand pulls offering a range of cask ales including one by the local Kirkstall brewery. Service was middle of the road, neither overly friendly nor abrupt. My half of Golden Pippin set me back £2.15 and was in decent nick.
Signs advertise Wi-Fi and a quiz night, as well as indicating you are welcome to bring your own food (I therefore assume that no food is served on the premises).
Definitely worth investigating, this one.

Old Boots left this review about The Queens Arms
A nice, old, low ceilinged, well timbered pub, five pumps of varied beers, mostly local. Two rooms, the back one looks more dining oriented.
