A unique tick for the name at least and the GBG listing meant that it was a priority stop on my Cornwall mini-break. Opens at 11am which is handy so you can have a nice walk along the sea wall to work off your Spoons breakfast. Interior is a modern mimsy farmhouse décor style - white, duck egg blue and scrubbed chunky wood, done to appeal to the dining set. Friendly and engaging young female staff who were quite happy to serve me a pint and have a chat inbetween tasks. Sensible cask, two pumps dispensing two micros in the local Penzance Brewery and Salcombe from Devon. My pint of the Penzance Piskies Cove was in good nick (NBSS 3.5) which was impressive given I was the only punter in not long after opening, so someone had pulled it through. Well-worth the GBG place and a pleasant 30 minute layover. 7.5
