Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Idle Hour
Formerly the Queens Arms, the place was substantially refurbished before reopening as the Idle Hour. The previous odd collection of chairs and tables in a right jumble of ages and styles has gone; replaced by some low, gastropub furniture at the front and along the side, a few modern bar stools and a more formal part-screened dining area towards the back. There is also more seating upstairs (which somehow I have never visited). Two real ales on handpump - Harveys and Old Hooky (£3.60, and only fair condition).
