Will Larter left this review about Beehive Inn
A multiroom village pub which seems to attract walkers and locals when the sun is out, and possibly also when it's not. Most customers seemed to be eating when I was here on a Saturday mid-afternoon, but there were three hand pumps with an unusual selection: Wainwright, Jaipur and a rebadged Wychwood beer called Beehive Bitter 3.4%, which was in reasonable nick (NBSS 3). It was pretty busy inside and out, mostly families with their children and dogs, and I noticed there's a sort of village convenience store in one of the pub rooms, though I didn't examine the contents in case I ended up buying something which I'd have to carry around for the rest of the day. I'd probably have enjoyed this place more on a cold week day afternoon in November, but as Atticus Finch said, we can't always have our 'drathers.
