I utilised this pub for a couple of seasons many moons back whist helping restore a canal boat on the water out back. And, although the waterside area has changed greatly since that time it was great to find the Victoria unchanged from the small two roomed local with pleasant waterside terrace area from my rememberances so I will give it an extra mark for that. As mentioned by Mr Fastard, a McMullens house with two beers available and the AK was a good pint with which to start our mini crawl of Ware.

A small traditional Mc Mullens tied house with two seperate bars, the snug housing a pool table, while the saloon has a few modern seats and tables,a juke box and a small bar.A well kept AK and seasonal Thirst Quencher were available along with the usual keg offerings. The low ceiling and friendly welcome add to the authentic feel. There is a beer garden by the car park and a riverside terrace giving a good view of the boating traffic.

The Victoria is a nice looking pub that is close to the town centre.
Once inside this pub seemed pretty much unaltered and was the sort of pub i like to have a drink in,this pub is a McMullens tied house and there were Two real ales on here i had a drink of McMullens AK bitter and this was very nice.
There is a garden at the rear of the pub which backs onto the river.
