This former Yates's is said to have up to three real ales on the bar. If we allow zero to be one of the numbers "up to" three then this was almost true at the time of my visit. The presence of four hand pumps with three pump clips turned around suggests that it could, from time to time, be a closer approximation to the truth than I'm prepared to grant. On a fine, sunny day in spring, though, why would you not have some real ale on the bar? I would say it's because you've stopped stocking it. In the absence of real ale this is not the pub for me, so I gave it a score of NBSS 0 and moved on.

Rebranded Yates's pub and virtually identical to all the other 'Crafty...' rebrands. As noted its a Wethers wannabe but without the beer choice. Ales available were as below. Basically its a large open plan meeting place pub and then a buggering off from pub.

seems to be the pub of choice for local uni students that don't like pubs. a busy, popular place - gave it another chance today but just as rubbish as I remember, a massive former-Yates disco pub. food menu similar to Wetherspoons but the beer nowhere near as good, Hobgoblin and Doom Bar plus two Brew Dogs on tap.
