Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Maggies
Formerly the Three Magpies, this is a 'blocky' and rather plain 1930s pub with just a few Art Deco features (perhaps more obvious internally than from outside). Comprises two main high-ceilinged rooms: quite a basic bar housing the pool table and a number of sports TV screens plus a larger and more comfortable lounge on the other side of the central servery and kitchen. No real ale, unfortunately, so I consoled myself with the M&B Mild (just £2.60).
