Reopened December 2012, ending Cerrigydrudion's "dry village" status since the nearby Saracens Head closed down in March of the same year.
One guest beer is sold.

I may have rated The White Lion with a 9, but the truth is I haven't been in there for 40 years. It was certainly worth a 9 in those days. On my first ever visit, I was surprised to see a photo displayed of Altrincham FC. (I think the Landlord of the day came from there). What caught my eye was the fact that the goalkeeper was an old friend of mine, George Smith, who I hadn't seen for several years. I later ran into George again when he was manager of Stockport Georgians.
