Visited earlier this month - my first time since it became de-Spoonsed. It doesn't seem to have changed massively and still has a varied selection of real ale to go at, counting 10 hand pulls with most of these in active service. There were some big nationals amongst the line up (Directors, Wainwright, etc) but also more local, including Ossett and Eagles Crag. My half of The Eagle's Talon by Eagles Crag was a pleasant bitter and a fairly reasonable £1.85 - no issue at all with the quality.
There is an upstairs area and beer garden, neither were investigated. The gents on the ground floor are quite small with just two urinals and one cubicle - I wonder if there may have been further toilets upstairs.
I'd be happy to return to this one.

Very similar to when it was the ‘spoons, the top bar seems not to open as often as previously. The lower bar still has five plus five pulls with horseshoes between and beyond. Most beers, there were six on, were from Saltaire with Landlord Wainwright and Directors as well. The quality was pretty decent. The carpet is tartan and may or may not be the ‘spoons one and there are several screens, the one behind the counter is vast.

Never got to this fine-looking pub in its 'spoons incarnation, but you can still the influence as the furniture, décor and information panels all appear unchanged. Still does a reasonable selection of cask ales from the two banks of five handpumps too, with Landlord, Wainwright Amber, the Blonde and Titus from Saltaire, and a pair from the local Eagles Crag Brewery - Pale Eagle (£2.80) and Golden Eagle. Surprisingly, the fireplace at the end of the bar is not only operational, but in use on a rather dank day in the middle of June! However. the kitchen has not yet restarted since the change of ownership, and the upstairs bar is still to be brought back into use.
