Just back after a 36mile round trip, food as usual a big hit, I like the way nothings to much trouble for any of the staff and what a treat we had a play with the icecream machine. I'll just have to wait till the next time, spot on guys

Can't recommend this place enough. I regularly travel 40 miles each way to eat here. Nice pub situated overlooking walney channel. Staff are excellent. It serves all day carvery, you can have all 3 hot meats, ham, turkey and beef and as much veg and roast potatoes as you like all for £3:50 Monday to Saturday, £6.50 Sunday and the food is excellent. Don't know how they make a profit. Be warned though it does get very busy. See you there.
