Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Ravenscourt Arms
Small Irish bar, with a front patio seating area that's about twice the size of the pub itself. Nothing of much interest inside beyond the pool table, but all tidy enough. However, despite appearances, and as on previous visit some seven years ago, I found the place to have good atmosphere and not unwelcoming to casual visitors. No real ale, of course, but thankfully they stock bottled Old Speckled Hen (£3.75) as an alternative to keg John Smiths.

We were looking forward to visiting as part of a Hammersmith crawl but our first glimpse was totally disappointing as it looks like an estate pub that has been plucked from suburbia and dumped into the middle of the metropolis - completely out of character. Fortunately for us it was closed (on a Thursday lunchtime) so we didn't have to bother.

This tiny pub looks totally out of place siding up against the 13 storeys of the Premier Inn. It's very estate like and walking up towards the entrance I noticed the obligatory motorised wheelchair that is to be found outside most estate pubs! It is away from the main road, so unlike many pubs along King Street there is outside seating at the front.
It is an Irish pub, but not so in-your-face as some Irish pubs can be. No real ale was spotted, but there is plenty of generic draught to choose from and the very friendly barmaid will serve you with a smile.
The pool table is an added bonus and I would say to anyone passing by to ignore the exterior and give it a go as you'll be pleasantly surprised.
